Join our editors as they chat with previous Insider Imprint authors. Get to know the story behind an article, what was the inspiration, and what publishing has meant from the student’s perspective. We will also be inviting professionals to gain insights into different career paths.

John Waters, Named Animal Care & Welfare Officer at Leahurst MBE Group joins us for a chat. An animal technician at the University for thirty years, John has been mainly involved for the past 8 years in improving lab animal welfare by promoting the non-aversive handling of lab mice nationally and internationally. This has recently been recognised with the honour of Times HE Outstanding Technician of the Year award.
